Montana Clayton is a writer, award-winning chef, military veteran, and world traveler who calls Kathmandu, Nepal, his home. His diverse background profoundly influences his writing, blending rich life experiences with deep storytelling. His debut poetry collection, Whispers in the Dark: A Collection of Poems Inspired by BDSM, explores bold themes and profound emotional experiences, while his screenwriting delves into complex human stories. His first short screenplay, Faded Light, won Best Short Screenplay-True Story at the Golden State Film Festival 2025 and was a semi-finalist at the Cinequest Film Festival 2025. Montana is currently studying Creative Writing with a focus on screenwriting. He lives with his wife, child, and dog, embracing life as an ongoing adventure. When he’s not writing, Montana enjoys video games, history, films, and traveling.
